parts of the business. We look after ethics, export, legal issues,
approvals, commercial negotiations (clients, supply chain, leases,
M&A, etc.), lifecycle management and order intake. Our work
ultimately influences and leads how the company undertakes, wins
and provides solutions to the internal and external client
base.
Within Commercial we've brought 'innovation with insight' to
life in four key ways: by maximising each opportunity, simplifying
day-to-day governance processes, empowering the organisation
through the clear delegation of authority, and by reducing project
and corporation risk profiles. For example, we've compiled and
rolled out extensive global training packs on a variety of topics
such as corporate governance, trading with the US government and
negotiation techniques, export compliance, and lifecycle management
to improve the skills and awareness of all our businesses and
instil common ways of working.
